West Bloomfield’s annual Heroes Appreciation Breakfast returns Tuesday, Nov. 3, offering veterans a free morning of food, music and recognition at West Bloomfield Middle School.

The breakfast begins at 9 a.m. at the school, 6000 Orchard Lake Road. Veterans and one guest attend free. Additional guests and non-veteran attendees pay $15, according to the WB Parks event page.

The event page lists a 10:30 a.m. end time, while registration lists 11 a.m. Attendees can contact WB Parks at 248-451-1900 to confirm the schedule.

West Bloomfield Parks recreation coordinator Crystal L. Smith previewed the breakfast and called for volunteers in an Oct. 15 Civic Center TV interview.

Four local organizations are partnering on the event: West Bloomfield Parks, West Bloomfield Township, the West Bloomfield School District and the West Bloomfield Township Public Library. The breakfast will feature the Police and Fire Department Honor Guard, guest speakers and live music, according to the registration page.
