MI Homes of Michigan is proposing a 40-unit townhouse community on an approximately 5-acre parcel at 5899 W. Maple Road in West Bloomfield Township.
The project, called West Maple Townes, was listed as a work session item on the Planning Commission’s Tuesday, Oct. 13, meeting agenda. The agenda identified Brandon Guest of MI Homes of Michigan as the applicant and described the request as a discussion with commissioners about redeveloping the property.
The parcel sits on the south side of Maple Road between Daly Road and Maple Creek Boulevard. It is zoned R-15 One Family Residential. The agenda described the property as previously zoned as a Planned Development District but did not detail what had been approved under that designation.
The meeting was scheduled for 6 p.m. at the township boardroom, 4550 Walnut Lake Road.
