Jewish Senior Life will open its West Bloomfield campus to the public Sunday, Nov. 8, for tours of three senior living communities.

The open house runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the organization’s West Maple Road campus. Visitors can tour available apartments, meet staff, enjoy food and refreshments, and ask about open-house incentives, according to JSL’s event page.

The event features Meer Apartments, Hechtman Apartments and Fleischman Residence.

Meer Apartments offers 198 one- and two-bedroom residences for seniors 62 and older. Hechtman Apartments has 198 independent living units, including HUD-subsidized and market-rate one-bedroom options for seniors 62 and older and people under 62 who require a barrier-free unit, according to JSL’s independent living page.

Fleischman Residence provides assisted living and memory care. Its Brown Memory Care Pavilion includes a new multisensory room for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

Jewish Senior Life celebrated the addition Oct. 6 in partnership with the Novi Chamber of Commerce and Greater West Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce. Guests toured the pavilion and experienced the sensory room, according to the organization’s website.

Meer Apartments also offers a Live & Learn program with college-level courses in partnership with Oakland University. Programming includes lectures, discussions, film series and presentations.

People of all faiths and beliefs are welcome, JSL says.

Visitors are asked to reserve a place through the event page or contact senior living advisor Lauren Stach at (248) 592-5075 or [email protected]. Confirm the arrival address when reserving, as JSL’s event page lists two campus addresses on West Maple Road.
